SHS '58 Class Update, July 2009 IN MEMORIAM Classmate Marianne Iorio of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, July 22, 2009. The Class of '58 "girls" meet for breakfast at 9:00 A.M. the second Monday every month at Denny's Restaurant, 2079 East State Street, Hermitage (724-347-3123). This is where most of the planning for our 50th Year Reunion occurred. The next breakfast meeting will be on Monday, August 10th. Winthrop University’s Board of Trustees voted unanimously June 5 to extend his contract as President to 2015. He started his 21st year at Winthrop in July, and is the longest-serving public university president in South Carolina. New E-mail Addresses. New Web Site Location Coming. We received notice that, on October 26, 2009, the existing class Web site hosted by Yahoo! at http://www.geocities.com will be moved so Yahoo! can focus on Yahoo! Web Hosting, its premium hosting service. It's unknown how difficult the transition will be, but we will have a new domain name, something like SharonTigers1958.org.
