William J. "Bill" Cassidy, 69, of 275 Bayberry Lane, Cortland, Ohio, died at 6:19 P.M. Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio. He was born December 5, 1939, in Sharon, the son of William F. and Hazel (Young) Cassidy, and graduated from Sharon High School in 1958. He was a lifetime area resident, and worked in purchasing at the former Copperweld Steel Company in Warren, Ohio, for more than 30 years. He was a social member of American Legion Post 299, Sharon. Bill is survived by several cousins including Classmate John Young. A memorial service was held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 26th, at Oakwood Cemetery Chapel, and burial was in Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
