William E. Baker, 67, of 409 East Main Street, Youngsville, Pennsylvania, died at 7:44 A.M. Thursday, October 16, 2008, at Saint Vincent Health System, Erie, Pennsylvania. Bill was born November 4, 1940, in Sharon, the son of Glenn R.and Erie Elizabeth (Titus) Baker. He graduated from Sharon High School in 1958 and from the C. L. Lane Bible Institute in Transfer in 1977. Bill was involved in radio broadcasting for 49 years and, as an ordained minister, served several churches throughout Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Kitch), whom he married April 3, 1962, two sons, William Baker of Linesville and Christopher Baker of Pocono Lake; two daughters, Patti Lynn Baker of Kittanning and Noelle Baker, of Warren; a brother, two sisters, and four grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 18, 2008, at the Free Methodist Church, Youngsville. Burial was at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
