Ronald Paul Evans, 69, of 1320 Southeast Avenue, Tallmadge, Ohio, died Sunday, January 17, 2010, in his residence. He was born October 19, 1940, in Sharon to Paul and Dorothy Dresch Evans, and was a 1958 graduate of Sharon High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired employee of Goodyear Tire Company, Akron, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Suzanne Evans; his stepchildren, Renee and husband Tom Watson; Vickie and husband Al Cortez; Lucky and husband Brent Tisch; and Lawrence E. Hartline; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a brother, Classmate Donald Evans and wife Ann; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Herb Rush. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and his best friends, Joe Ostrowski and Joe Elekes. Funeral services were held Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, followed by interment at Tallmadge Cemetery. |
