Kenneth Fredrick Hess, 60, 1203 North Park Drive, Brookfield, Ohio, died Friday, June 16, 2000, in his home. He was born Nov. 26, 1939, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Paul J. and Evelyn C. Whitmore Hess. After graduating in 1958 from Sharon High School, he was employed at Poly-Tec in Hermitage, Pa., as a rolling mill operator. He was also employed at Van Huffel Tube in Warren for 30 years. He was a member of the Church of the Sacred Heart in Sharon, served in the National Guard and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by a daughter, Kelly S.; two sisters, Phyllis, wife of Classmate Dave Siwiecki, and Lorna O'Brien, both of Erie, Pa.; and a brother, Richard P. Hess of New Castle, Pa. A son, Paul J. Hess; a brother, Paul J. Hess, who was killed in Vietnam; and a sister, Kim Hess Hammar, are deceased. Burial was at St. Rose Cemetery.
