John H. "Jack" Moss, 64, of 574 Buhl Boulevard, Sharon, died at the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System following an extended illness on Saturday, May 31, 2003. Jack was born in Sharon on January 31, 1939, to Harold J. Moss and Edna H. Teague Moss. He attended Sharon schools and was a material handler for 15 years at CCI Container in Hermitage. Mr. Moss served in the Army Reserves from 1961 to 1967. He was a member of Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage, American Legion
Post 299, Sharon, and was an avid golfer and pool player. As an antique and classic car enthusiast Mr. Moss belonged to the Antique Auto Club of America. He is survived by his wife, the former Marilyn J. Evans Mazzola, whom he married on July 1, 2000. Also surviving are two stepdaughers, two stepsons, one sister, Patricia Looney, Sharon and one brother, Richard "Dick" Moss, Sharon. A funeral mass was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 4th, in the Church of Notre Dame. Interment was at St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
