Dorothy Ella "Dottie" (Frank) Salamone, 59, the wife of Salvatore C. Salamone, of 37 Sagamore Avenue, Suffern, New York, died of a heart attack on Tuesday, May 30, 2000. She was born in Sharon in 1940 to Herman and Jeannette G. Frank and was a 1958 graduate of Sharon High School. Dottie moved to New York City in the late fifties to continue her education. It was there that she met her husband,and the two of them later moved to Suffern, where she raised a family. An active member of her community, Dottie was a member of the Temple Beth El Sisterhood, where she also ran the Judaica Shop. She is survived by her husband, children Michael and Laura, and her brother, Arnold. Funeral services were at Temple Beth El, 415 Viola Road, Spring Valley, New York, at noon on Thursday, June 1. Arrangements were by Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street, Spring Valley (914) 356-8600.
